Think you can Beat the Heat? Here's Your Chance!

Enjoy being on 5,000 feet of tarmac from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on June 8th, in our Beat the Heat Radar Gun (and other activities) while being ‘clocked’ by law enforcement, legally. Awards will be offered to those who can Beat the Heat, Oldest car and slowest car. Drivers will make several passes in an effort to Beat the Heat and win the top prize of the Snail Trophy.

Join us at our Casino Royale themed Winner’s Circle Party from 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Relax, sample wine and appetizers as you try your luck at charity black jack, roulette and other casino favorites.

I was already asked on a few questions on the other forums so I am relaying the Q&A.

Yes this is on the old McCullan Air force Base and the event is on June 8th 2013.

1. This is a FULL tax right off as it for charity event for the Aerospace Museum
2. No helmet is required for the race way
3. Length of speed run is 1/2 mile from a standing start
4. The winners party is a good excuse to take the Mrs out and get dressed up.
5. Yes you can dress like James bond as there will be a Martini bar there.
