Yes, I did. Then pulled the filters, fabricated some collars and ran intake hoses up to the front panel. Will see if I can locate pictures.

You might see if Paul still has his, last picture I saw of his new engine had the standard round filter. I know it isn't for you Don, but maybe you could hook them up. Ask for a finders fee :encouragement:
 
I have one (we call her Princess Leah) that's been sitting on a shelf since I changed to Offy valve covers. Leah won't fit with the Offy covers. I would part with her for $100 plus shipping. I think she's missing the center attaching screw.
