Air ducts

I spent 2 1/2 hour on the darn thing. Patience is overrated. I got the same results as if I rushed through it. The end unraveled so I cut that part off. Then (finally) it unrolled about 6 inches from the end opening a 4 inch hole. I think I will flair the end and use vinyl tape around the end going into the inside of the end. I like the silicone idea too. Someone suggested rubbing candle wax on the metal tube. I did all the tubes in 2002 in about one hour. I got the other two tubes done in 15 minutes. My arms look like I lost a battle with a cat.

You need to stretch the whole duct if it is new, be carefull, it doesn't stretch a lot but it makes is easier to make turns. Don't just have you and a mate grab the ends and pull.
