Almost ready to install the apron. Can the fiber board air duct be installed after the apron is installed? Or should it be installed on the apron before the apron is installed on the car

Your thoughts greatly appreciated, Cheers.................

It is a real pain to get in just right......

I do not know what is correct... but I folded the edges back (in) to fit along the sides of the radiator and press against the top tank:

In a moment of fussiness it appears I painted the upper flap black. Mine had those flaps already pre-creased so I assumed I was on the right track.

Dick - See how mine fits. With the bumper off and the grille out, you insert the air defector into the grille opening as one assembled piece and secure it with the two supports that protrude out through the grille for the tops of the bumperettes (over-riders).

Thanks for the info folks! Don & Geo the pics are very helpful. Don did you hand trim yours to the shape shown in the picture?

Regard, Dick

I'm getting ready to install the Moss Motors duct in my '58. Any suggestions on the type of paint I should use to paint it prior to installation?

Thanks, Bill

I used body color, both sides. Judging standards, if you're interested, specify body color.
