Does this mean you can drive through the gate and on to the public highways?

Heh, she been titled for some time. I put the rear bumpers that came yesterday on.

Jack,

NICE A$$! LOL! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

No really, looks great!

I did notice that Jack. That is one pretty little car,but I was wondering if you had ventured out of your subdivision
yet?

Stuart.

Oh heck yes, no heating problems even at 95 degrees here, Oil pressure at minimums, need to pull engine and install new pump.

About 150 miles on her, never a stutter. Have had her to 5K and a bit and 60 mph.

I just had a thought, are mechanical tachs pretty accurate, or do they need calibration. If it is accurate at 1000 rpms, does that mean it will be accurate at 5000? Not that I think anything is wrong with your tach, but I was wondering.

Those are PURDY bumperettes! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif

Pretty, real pretty! I didn't think the bumperettes were supposed to be straight, mine usually aren't.

Rings on her fingers and bells on her toes, she will make music wherever she goes!!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Going to wait a couple of months on engine I should expect, it is just too hot and humid to worry about it now. Fifteen min in the garage other than 3 in the morning is just awful. Meanwhile I have some bits to procure and stash on the shelf waiting on the right time. Need yet: Clutch disk, tonneu, top, tilt forward for bonnett, and a few odds and ends. Been thinking about some sound deading in the cave floor and some carpet over that. Expect all to be complete by thanksgiving or before.

Remember now this is not a daily driver, I am retired, although she is quite runable as she is. She will mostly be trailered to where ever if it is more than a 30 min or so drive at least durring the hotest part of the year.

She lives in the garage under a cover and on a peice of cardboard, marks her spot every time she is run, don't they all. At least all of mine have. I will admit to checking on her daily and even speeking to her from time to time.

I am sure that there is going to be a time in the not too distant future that I am going to wish I had a four car garage so she could have a racer frend for company. I have drooooled over several but am afraid that will never happen. I am really a bit old to hit the track I think, and the place I live precludes cars parked out side.

However, now that I think on it, my good friend the stock car guy is I think fixing to build a rather large shop on a peice of land he has here. Says he needs a place to get away and I am sure I could use a small sprite corner as he and I get along great and he likes company.

Hmmmm.

I like your thinking Jack!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Jack

Are you happy with the work that Knox Custom Chrome did on your rear bumper overriders?

More than happy. They do excellent work as you can see, have seen.

They have my original grill, front bumper, rear bumperettes, e-brake handle and grab handle. Should be ready about August 1.

How about the shift lever??
