Hey y'all. I am starting to plan my rebuild for my Sprite's 1275. From what I can tell it is from a '71 Midget. My car has 113k miles and miles on the engine is unknown.
I have a few oil leaks and looking for an excuse to rebuild it to pull a few more HP out of it. I was to start planning and collecting parts for a rebuild next winter.
One thing I can't find a good answer to is if the aftermarket aluminum or stage 2 1275 heads are worth it? Reading the forums, the answer is always just go to Acme Speedshop, which is what I am leaning towards, but if I can spend a bit less money and pick up a slightly not as good head, I don't have a problem with that.
I am looking at doing a fast street build.
