What am I missing? I have a nice steering wheel with the center horn button. The horn button has a end wire connecter to complete the circuit ! I am at a total blank on the way to make the horn circuit work. Any explanation will help.
 
You'll need a slip ring arrangement somewhere, so the button can turn without twisting the wire. IIRC the original arrangement had a carbon brush that turned with the wheel, riding on a slip ring behind the wheel that did not turn.

Dan - normally the boss would be set up for the horn button to plug the wire into - if the boss has a hole in it instead to use one of those spring loaded horn brushes, then you should see if you can modify the button: remove the wire pigtail and in its place screw on a small metal tab. The tab should align with the horn brush. That should give you a horn I think.
 
Got it figured out. I used a flat piece of brass and attached to the back of the horn button. Then ground down the horn contact (#111) so that the whole assembly fit back in with out to much pressure from the horn contact to pop it back out. Now the horn works great. Now on to the wiper motor.....
