Gentlemen,

I want to remove the float from the chamber of the carburettor of my BN6. Tried hard yesterday with screw drivers and other "tools" without any success. Has anybody in this group an advice how to remove it in an easy way?

Please have in mind that the carburettor is fitted in the car and nit removed fro it.

If its stuck, you'll need to spray some carb cleaner around it so it can loosen up the varnish. If floating it doesn't work it you should probably take the bowl off completely so it can be cleaned anyway.

Step 1. Remove as much fuel as possible so top of float is dry.
Step 2. Duct tape! My actual preference is Gorilla tape. You will need 1, maybe 2 strips, approx 1/2"-3/4" wide. pinch one end together as a "handle" that wont stick to the bowl. Push the exposed end onto float top. Lift. Done!
