Admitting Defeat - This Is VERY Hard....

I'll be putting the '60 Ford Anglia up for sale, along with boxes of parts.
I've decided that it's time to move on, as we have a large two car garage,& are
paying $171 a month to store a restoration project (+ other things).
This is the only Anglia left here that was sold here in Eureka.
I finally faced the fact tonight that it was time to move on, as we only have a large
two car garage.
****! - it's SO hard to admit defeat.....

And I would say - that "moving on" isn't defeat at all. It's progress.

(who never has had a garage at all)

+1 Doug, "stuff" chokes us - get rid of it and move on to projects you can enjoy (and use)

Just put my 39 Ford Standard on Craigslist this morning, needs a total restoration. Also getting a Lancia Beta running and ready for sale. I am 67, running out of time. The TR4 needs paint and a little engine work (front and rear seals), rather do that.

I think everyone's had to give up a project or 2 here and there... Life happens, besides if nobody sold projects, none of us would ever find anything else to work on!!!

Kinda how I felt when I let my Daimler Special Sport go. Sad, but I got over it.

I have decided to hold it off as long as I can, since we have 5 collectable cars/projects here.
I'm sorry if I wasted anyone's time.

We all have the same quandry from time to time. :encouragement:

I just went through selling off about 20 years of accumulated Cortina
parts, which was a HUGE decision for me.
Some cars will have to go a one point...........

I am also cleaning out my garage, and have an Anglia motor and trans., to clear out. Its free to anyone who will come and take it. I need the room for my next project. Ralph.
