Adjustable steering wheel setup

I need the forums' help on installing my "Y" adjustable steering wheel on my TR-3.

Which way should the steering wheel spokes be lined up when the wheels are straight ahead. Should steering wheel look like a "Y" or an inverted "Y"?

It seems like an inverted "Y" gives an better view of the instruments. Thanks, John
