I have an adjustable wheel on my TR3B and the wheel had a keeper ring between the wheel ID and the splined shaft. It kept the wheel from pulling off the shaft towards the driver. It looks like 1/8" diameter wire bent into a circle. The ring fit in a machined groove around the OD of the splined shaft about 1/4" from the end of the shaft,
Moss Motors catalog (# 21 CIRCLIP, adjustable wheel TR2-3B (LHD) )N/A.
When I took the clip off it sprang away and I haven't found it yet. Please msg. me if anyone has one. Fabbing one is on my list...Id rather have one I could just snap back on...
Price plus shipping happily paid.
Thanks:
Jim

It's not often I get stumped like this.
Are you certain of the numbers you gave me?
I have a 1/8 inch wire coil spring that is close to that 11/16 ID but it seems too stout for the application.
Can you use a snap ring?
Since I'm always away from the computer please call or text me before 4 PM PST @ 650-455-1110.

11/16" is the diameter of the groove the wire retainer fits in after the steering wheel is slipped on the 3/4" splined shaft. Exterior retainer style.
The groove is 1/4" from the end of the shaft and is 1/8 " wide, leaving 1/16" exposed and stopping wheel movement towards the driver.
1/8" steel or stainless wire is the material the clip is made of.
I remember thinking it was a unique retainer when I removed it.
I measured with a digital caliper.
I think a snap ring might work but it would have play in the round groove.
I haven't played with it yet and will probably end up with bent wire or a snap ring to make do.
Any one who has an adjustable wheel with out a nut on the end of the shaft would have a such retainer clip.
