Adjustable Shock Mounts

Has anyone installed the adjustable shock mounts (to adjust camber) from Denis Welch? Do they just bolt on? How would you rate them?
 
The mounts work well if you want that last little bit of suspension adjustment & really need them. They are installed by sawing the original mounts from the top of the frame, accurately locating the new mounts & welding them back on. Not exactly a bolt on.

Geoff Leake who drove the really fast 100 in the recent AUHC series told me that he and the other Aussies created negative camber on the fronts by bending the top control arm. His car has about 1 degree and others as much as 2.
 
I certainly would not suggest bending the control arms unless you have a great deal of knowledge about strength of materials, heat treating & such. The control arms are originally heat treated to a certain combination of ductility & strength. This part is too critical to just heat & bend.

You CAN create negative camber by using shorter upper arms as found on certain other car models with the same type shock.
