Adding lap belts

I used the Moss ones.

Ben, there were eye bolts in the back corners of the floors. Nice job PDO, saved some pain.

Moss belts that I have.

The ones I have from Moss are red with chrome flip up connectors. Keep em rolled up behind the seats where they can not be seen.

Bah, I lied Ben, mine are black. Moss cat. page A12, Top left, Vintage style Seatbelts.

2-Point Belt, Long(38" adjustable clasp side, 30" tongue side) #222-235 $23.95

They role up nicely and hide behind the corners of the seats.

Most shows want you to have a fire extenguser, Moss has a chrome one, and a First Aid Kit as well.

Just comes with a bolt as I remember.

I got the vintage racing belts from Moss and love them. I get comments on them all the time, and most think they are original. They attach with eye bolts and clips.

the "vintage type" belts originally came out of military aircraft, I believe - I was told that a huey helicopter boneyard was the best place to find authentic units. Dunno if that's true. Not many helicopter junkyards around.

Summit has the good prices, too....

Word of caution - they look cool, but for those of us with "dunlop disease" (stomach's dun-lopped over da belt) the wider buckle can chaffe a bit.....
