I added a new hole in the firewall for my tach cable, I sent both tach and spedo out and refurbised, I never liked the big bend in the tach cable under the dash for the tach cable so I drilled a new hole added a gromet and the cable is much straighter going to the tach

Oh boy - now you've gone and become a DPO! :jester:

Good job, though!

maybe so but I have fixed more DPO problems than I have created
fixed PDWA light
fixed hazards lights
fixed oil pressure lamp
fixed tunnel lamp
fixed glove box lamp
fixed door light switches
fixed horns
fixed washers
fixed reverse lamps
(well a new harness fixed all that)

well you get the Idea

It looks like a steelbraid oil pressure guage hose, TSI is where mine came from.

I was told size does matter, and yes its the Braided SS oil pressure line to gauge, and that was another reason I added the extra hole, it is larger but that original plastic line I dont trust and dont want a breakage and oil spraying everywhere or damaging the new engine thats going in at the end of april

Looking better every time you post a pic, Hondo. Keep them coming.
