Anyone know what the thread sizes are for this adapter. Could I find something like this locally rather than waiting to get one from the Big 3 or is this item specific to Brit cars?

It has an adapter? I don't remember that.

I don't know about the TR4 but I put a new master that came with a fitting (perhaps to convert to standard tubing) on a TR3 but I simply took it out and screwed the original line directly into the cylinder. Is this similar to what you mean?

Be careful about taking out the adapter and just screwing in the original line. Look down into where the adapter fits and see if it has the same seat configuration as the old M/C. I just went through this with my car, and had to wind up using the supplied adapter.

I didn't know the new MC's came with an adapter. This is what I was looking for Moss 589-140. Wanted to find a local source so I could bleed the system right away but guess I'll buy one from Moss. Thanks for your replies.
