A week or so ago, the lock actuator on the driver's rear door began making a loud screaching/ buzzing noise every time the lock is engaged/ disengaged. It's a 2000 Intrepid. A new one is $180 a used $100 any repair thoughts?

Remove inner door panel, snip wires to lock mechanism. Buzzing stops. <DEVIL ICON HERE!>

Sounds like one of them Eye-talian electrical solutions worthy of a "Pink wire" car /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Yeah. Kinda eliminates th' "high tech" bits so's ya can press on. Fewer wires inna Alfa though. Gotta be more selective. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
