Rich - do you have the left and right columns on screen? Does this happen when there are large pictures in the posts?
Usually the only time the "active topic" screen is too wide for me, is when someone adds a picture which is very wide (like 600 pixels or more) - so the screen has to "stretch" to fit it, and we end up having to use the horizontal scroll arrows. yech.
One of the posts in the Triumph forum had a very long URL posted. Since URLs have no spaces, there is not line breaks and the URL caused that one post to be very wide, which caused the entire page to be very wide. I've fixed it by using the
IN the full editor to replace the long URL with a shorter link title. I recommend that people use the URL button in teh editor to place URL links in the forum rather than just pasting in full URLs. That way you can link to very long URLs but give them short link names that appear in the post.
