Acetylene Tanks in Your Trunk Are Bad

Yikes! Mix it with a little more O2 and it might have REALLY been a wild scene.
 
Sure ruined his car.

I once needed to refill the bottles for my torch and only had my 79 450 SEL to transport them in. Both were able to fit in the back seat, so I went to town with them. I made sure that after they were full that the acetylene was tightened down tight ,the cover was secure, and that the windows were all rolled down.
 
Bet even the driver's seat isn't salvageable. download (3).jpg
