TR2/3/3A Accelerator Assembly Installation TR3A

I suspected that I would not be able to install the accelerator assembly with the linkage lever attached. I just confirmed that with a trial run of installation with the lever attached. No way Jose!
My question for whomever out there is, what is the best way to get this done with the least damage to the bulkhead, accelerator assembly and assorted carb linkage parts?

Your thoughts, as usual, greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Tinkerman

Hey Dick
If you are talking about the rod that goes behind the engine, I know that both times I installed mine I did it apart then inserted the roll pin. It is not a fun job and quite tite if the moter is in.

Yep Dan, that's the one I'm talking about. I'm going to go after it tomorrow so wish me luck.
No TD I really don't need any bent ones, I'm bent enough as it is, heh

Cheers, Dick
