Acceleration Fixed

Hi All, For those of you who have been following my acceleration problem, it's solved. Following the old adage that 90% of fuel problems are ignition related led me done the wrong path. Swapped out the carbs with a spare set of HS4's I had, and the car is running well. Not completely right, but close enough to put a smile on my face. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Thanks for all the help, Mike

Fortunately I have managed to collect a complete set of replacement parts for Ign. & fuel.

When I get stumped, I just start switching everything.

I know it's not what a real mechanic would do but..... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
