Hello,
I have an AC Ace (actually an early Cobra) that had a rear spring retainer bolt break causing the spring to shift over and the tire would rub. After replacing the bolts and re-centering the spring (we measured it several times to make sure it was centered before tightening), the rear end sets a lot higher and the tire still rubs.
Does anyone know if there is some sort of special procedure for re-tightening that rear spring retainer?
Thanks,
Walt
