aaah, back to "normal"

O.k. back to as normal as it gets. What a wonderful feeling. We paid the contractor his last check for all of the storm damage repairs last week, school started on Monday, old son left for college today...soon our home will be back to normal as it gets around here....aaah....Crown and Coke and quiet time on the forum...life is good!
Now if my new Master cylinder would just come in tomorrow.......

Re: aaah, back to "normal"

Good to hear....now, tell us about the cars

Re: aaah, back to "normal"

I had to sell Idgy to pay for some of the modification we did during the remodeling. The B is running Swwweeeet! Strong motor, header, weber downdraft with a new Monza exhaust. starts and purrs. Recently began looking at brakes and decided to "rebuild the master cylinder but it appears it is shot so I've got one on order and it should be here next week. Wheels and tires are next and then we may actually get it out of the garage. If it makes it around the block, neighborhood, to work and appears reliable we are discussing trying our hands at a "garage paint job" and learnng how to do some minor body work. I've read the threads about about painting your own cars and I think this is our next major learning project. We are already researching our options and looking at some past threads that showed "homemade" paint booths.
I also am looking at a TR6 that we spotted recently for our next project if the price is right. That way I can have the MGB and hubby can have his own LBC too!
