A place for extra fuse holders.

A hiding place for extra fuse holders. Since I am changing out the old generator for an alternator. I decided to keep the old regulator cover. I removed the regulator and stored it away in an air tight bag. Then I made a new aluminum plate and attached an angle bracket and installed 4 fuse holders so that I can have 4 more fused circuits for a radio amp, extra lights etc. I attached them all to the switched hot circuit from the switch so they won't be hot all the time. The cover fits neatly over the top and ataches with the two screws and no one is the wiser.

But, but the hood release is inside the locked car /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif Seriously, I am now getting to the part I enjoy, as an electrician, I plan on adding all the things that I think I might need right now even if I decide I don't need it later. I want to get it all buttoned down nice and tight and clean looking. None of this jumper wire here and there that the last owner had going on and make myself a nice print(drawing) so I will be able to remember all the changes I have made and all the spare wires, fuses, etc. that I put in so I won't have to guess at any thing. I really enjoy wiring cars and would do it for a living if I thought I could make a living at it. I got to rewire an old Bentley once and I really enjoyed that. The ownere told me exactly what he wanted and that is what he got. It was a cool old car had the little turn signal lights that popped out from between the doors, all cloth wiring that had faded and you could not tell the colors well. I put in all new wiring and some upgrades, it was fun.
