A perfect day with some progress too!

The weather was just ideal today so I got to spend a bit of quality time on OBI! I finished installing the Spitfire bonnet latches (what an improvement over the old rubber Jeep-type hold-downs!) and finished shaving the fender beading off the bonnet too...MUCH easier on the 'glas bodywork than the metal ones at the rear!).
I am really happy with the look! Closer and closer to paint I get!

Nice, Mike. Those latches look very nice.

Thanks Drew! What I like about them is that they are flush to the body instead of hanging out like the old setup!!

Well... the car certainly looks happy.

Well done. Looking good.

Bugeyes always look happy, Trevor.

To quote my wife: "Isn’t it cute how, no matter now much work a Bugeye needs, he still smiles?"

The Ugly Bug doesn't really smile. His grill is blacked out.
