I'll do my best with the Grog.

Our FIRST Robotics ~TEAM~ is "The Marauders" and our Team Mascot is a student dressed like a pirate. During our "robot build" season (Jan-Feb) we *all* talk like pirates. Funny but it seems to help bond the team.

I just reread it a few months ago. I agree it was a great book. Too bad the author had committed suicide because no one would publish the book. After it was published it won major awards.

After reading it for the second time, I passed it around our family and now it is back on the shelf for the next time I decide I need the book. Pirates, hot dogs, taxis, dancers make for a great story.

I transacted business at several establishments today, all the while using a pirate voice. They seemed to like it at Starbucks. Not so much so at Home Depot.
