Does anyone know of a source for a dipstick that will not leak? Mine always seems to be wet around the block and tube. I have seen nice ones with o-ring seals for the A+ but none for the earlier, 1967, block that I have. If it's just a matter of different lengths, I can trim it, but are the diameters the same?
 
Don't know about the diameter but it sounds like your PCV valve isn't working properly.

Who you calling a dipstick and on Christmas eve.
 
Do you use it as a plug in place of the dipstick, or as a collar around the stick and over the tube? I figure the easiest way would be to just plug the opening and keep the stick in the cockpit.
