A grand day out

Nice weather today, following several days with record lows!! Mid-fifties for a high in August is not funny! Took my wife out in the 'B' for the first time in ages, as it's been laid up off and on waiting to be fixed. Drove out by Lake Geneva and Burlington in Wisconsin, over a hundred miles, never missed a beat, behaved perfectly. And the car was co-operative too! There are not many things more gratifying than the knowledge that you did the work right, everything works again as it should, and that there were no parts left over after it was all put back together /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Steve -

Same here in Tennessee - fantastic weather. Today we're taking the TR3 out for a ride. Can't pass it up.

By the way, if you need some of those "extra parts left over after you've finished the restoration", I can send you some - looks like I'm gonna have LOTS! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif
