Talk about a leap forward (no pun intended) -

Here's the Citroen Traction Avant of 1955. Obviously a bit dated in appearance and other aspects, even for 1955.

And here's another Citroen, the DS, introduced that same year. Quite a step forward for 1955, I'd say.

Yeah, but I'd much rather see that Traction Avant in my garage! Just saw it on Bring-A-Trailer this morning.
