TR2/3/3A A genius at work [ or the Chinese revenge]

Now that I've accepted how dumb I am. I can't stop grinning.

as I mentioned in a previous thread, I really beat my self up just drilling a few hole thru the sheet metal of my 3A, using a new tight angle drill I got from HFT.

finally I got feed up with it , so i pulled out my dads 50 yr old craftsman 1/2" drill.
it went thru the same metal like butter......
Taking a good look at the situation I finally realized the problem.
the Chinese comrades wired this one up backwards. When it was on "forward" it was reversed.
So i was basically boring holes, not drilling.
I hope there is a comrade over in the workers paradise who reads this and has a good laugh.
Ha!

It likely is because the drill was built below the equator. As we all know, toilets, tornadoes, and drills all spin in opposite directions north and south of the equator.

hehehehe
