Went to a local British car show this weekend, and we shared our class with four other TR-250s! It was great to meet some of the other local 250 owners -- or perhaps all of them! Thought I would share some photos. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ours is the Triumph Racing Green 250 on the very end -- he was the only one there wearing Rostyle hubcaps! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

Here's another shot, a bit artistic this time if I say so myself. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif Our 250, Greenie, is in the foreground.

Way nice! My unrestored beast would look like a country cousin in such company.
Like you I won't put a plate on the front. Spoils the looks IMHO. Haven't done so on any of my personal transport for the last five years (Jeep, MGB and now the Landie) and have yet to hassled by the gendarmerie.

You're too kind. While Greenie has been repainted in the past, it's been about 20 years and overall he's in solid original condition. The red 250 was really pretty.

The white car in the middle belongs to my brother. He spent 13 years rebuilding it from the ground up. He farmed out the machine work, but did everything else himself. Now he's a self taught welder and painter. He knows the car inside out and backwards. I'm proud to do a little bragging for him. Bye the way Mad, he was very complimentary of your car. The DC area is fortunate to have such a strong LBC community.

I like everyone having the racing stripe over the front hood. It is coming back into fashion for the 250.

Bob -- you're Steve's brother! It was great to meet him, and his car was great. He had a photo of what it looked like when he bought it. Wow, he's done a lot of work. And it was great to see a surry as well. Also good to hear that he had nice things to say about our 250. Pls. give him my regards.

Dale -- the show was put on my the Capital Triumph Register (www.capitaltriumphregister.com) and was held at Collingwood, an old mansion outside of Alexandria, VA. Nice spot with a long lawn ending at the Potomac.
