My recently completed '66 BJ8 took 1st place in the Foreign Car Class at the Colorado State Patrol 75th Anniversary celebration and car show. There was not a whole lot of competition in my class but there was an Acura NSX, Porsche, Jaguar, Lexus and maybe a couple of others.

"State Patrol celebrates 75 years with Golden event
The Colorado State Patrol is celebrating its 75th Anniversary by throwing an open house bash.
The free, family event is open to the public and will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Patrol's academy campus in Golden, 15055 S. Golden Road.
The day's events will include a car show, featuring a long line of CSP vehicles from past and present, police motorcycle competitions hosted by the local chapter of The Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, and demonstrations by the patrol's police dog unit, among other highlights.
People who attend the celebration will be able to tour the patrol academy, which has served as a training center for troopers for the past 75 years. The facility is also home to the CSP museum, which houses a wide variety of historical patrol items and memorabilia."
