Well maintained but rarely driven would best described my Healey BJ-7. I do not doubt it's capabilities to thrill, and excite and to put smiles on peoples' faces, especially fellow driver with whom we share the roads.

This labor day weekend I plan to drive the Healey from San Francisco (East Bay) to Santa Barbara, CA and back again - FWY 101 South inland route then the coastal route on return. The Healey has been relegated to doing errands for so many years that this particular trip, to me, would be consider an actual drive. So wish me luck, because off we go! GONZO.

I've been wanting to make a trip like that in my spitfire since I got her but I need to put some more work into it. It's a beautiful drive have fun.
I'll keep an eye out for you in the San luis obispo area.

I did the PCH route a couple of years ago, picking it up south of the Bay, and going down as far as Pismo. Then inland to the foothills of the Sierras, and back north to the Sacto area.
Breathtaking trip the entire way. I'm jealous, as you can probably figure out by looking at my current location!
Jeff
