It was brought to my attention tonight that I had a grossly inaccurate distance in the database for one particular route on one of the checkpoints. I double checked the distance for the checkpoint/route in question and it was indeed 100 miles off in the database. Of course there is always a possible small fudge factor that may get added or subtracted from any given route, but it would never be 100 miles off! I’d rather not discuss the specifics of which checkpoint/route was at fault. Suffice it to say that I have adjusted the scores of all players who chose the faulty route on the checkpoint in question. If you were a player who chose the bad route on that checkpoint, I looked at the speed you picked and calculated what you score should have been. Then I adjusted your score as required. There are about 9 players who now have slightly higher scores as a result.

I apologize for the error, but I’ve adjusted all affected scores to what they should have been. I’ve also fixed the distance in the database for that route/checkpoint so that all who have yet to play that checkpoint won’t be affected.
