Hi All just a question
My Jag has a sort of rattle
It does not happen when it is in park and I throttle the engine
but when in gear at low speed I hear a metal to metal rattle
checked everything I can see top and under for loose bits but no luck
Any ideas ?

A "metal to metal rattle" is a tad difficult to troubleshoot and isolate on the forum!
However:

Does it occur with wheel speed, as is starts out slowly and builds up frequency as speed picks up?
If so, does it go away at a certain speed, say, 25MPH?

Does it do it under load, i.e. accelerating, but not de-celerating?
Does it sound like it's in the front, or rear?
Left, or right?

Hi One source of a rattle that is difficult to nail down is a cracked flex plate.Fwiw--Keoke

it was a loose speedoo
knew I had heard it somewhere before
as had the same issue with the Triumph after the dash reinstall
