In another thread someone mentioned that a distributor
from a 1275 engine is a bolt on replacement for the
1500 distributor. Has anyone tried using a dizzy from
a 948 on a 1500 engine? I have one of these in stock,
and would like to see the stock 1500 dizzy go away.

Yep- no problem. They all fit the same.
The advance curves will be a tiny bit off but if you aren't racing it you will probably never be able to tell

Thats good news! Need to keep the original dizzy for
smog checks. If I dared to go to a smog check station
with something thats not stock the state of Kalifornia
would have a collective fit. At my expense of course.

How the heck would they ever know Steve. Most folks have no clue as to what the car is even.
