After about 18 months of tearing my hair out on my 911S...I was finally able to drive it today...all new f/i systems and lots of tinkering. I changed the oil and filter today...all 14 Qts...and its never run and sounded so good. Tomorrow I'll tqweak the dwell, timing and idle...and then have to wait till Tuesday morning to register the thing...I love my MGs...but this car is one fun thing to drive. I'll try to post a pic or two.

sweet - congrats!

That's got to be good fun to drive, enjoy it!

Looks great and good luck with it. What year?

75S..1975, Arctic Silver with herringbone interior and a sunroof. The 70E I just sold was an a/c car but this ones a bit more fun. Whenever I pull it out of the shop people come to the gate and ask if its for sale. When you tell them what its worth they just laugh and walk off. Last week a guy offered to buy my CGT..said he could go as high as $2000. I thaked him for his generous offer and declined.

Just flipped through a copy of "Classic Cars" magazine in the bookstore...there was an article about inexpensive 911 models and what to look for...might be worth a little closer perusal.

Good news, Jack. Glad it's up and going!

Most of my VWs were sold...one left is a 59 with semaphores. Am selling it cheap...has rust in heater channels but throwing in a quality..brand new set. Also included is a 90 Mexican beetle pan with trans, front end and title...perfect shape. No engine but 90 trans is a 12 volt..swing axle..If not gone in a week or so...torch time and off to recyclers.
