Letting the ISO "float" with a 1/100th sec and ∱4.0, ISO went to 360. Did some post tweaking and scaled full frame:

I was going to ask what F-stop. Is F4 wide open on that lens?

Wide-open it's a ∱2.5. It still impresses me how sharp it is, particularly for being a 45+ year old design.

That was on the D7200, it has AiS capable metering. On the later D7500 that was done away with... wish they hadn't done that.

Reminds me of my EF135 f/2. Not quite as old as your 90mm, but still close to 30 years old. That is my go-to lens when shooting indoors, such as recent grand niece's HS graduation, or indoor rodeos. Canon has a new RF 135 f/1.8 which, if you pixel peep, is a little sharper in the corners, and 1/3 stop brighter, but considering what I paid for this 135 and the fact that I'm more than happy with results, I can't see myself spending north of $2100 to "upgrade." Is the RF version "better," sure in some subtile ways, but my trusty old EF version is great, so I'm in no big hurry to upgrade. Yes, I have to use an adaptor to mount it, but big deal. Lot's of other gear I'd spend that much one before an upgrade I really don't need. A truly good tripod for example.

On this one it was with the 18~140mm and seriously cropped. ISO at 400 and still the image is acceptable. Full frame below it.
