Found a bunch of pictures from the early 80's in my dads things. Would love to see a group like this on the road somewhere! The biggest group of Sprites I ever see is if mine all happen to be in the same place!

Check this out from '88 on (or near) the East Coast... https://gerardsgarage.com/Garage/30th_versary/30thAnniversary.htm

Well, my Sprite looks pretty much the same almost 30 years later, too bad I don't!

"Sprite Fest" was a great event, thanks to the hard work of Rick Moses. Hard to believe it was all brought together through newsletters and telephone calls before the days of the internet. Here's a summary of the event:

I enjoyed being part of the group that celebrated the 50th birthday of the Sprite at Lake of the Ozarks. We had a good many cars but i don't recall how many.

My car was there with its previous owner, great to see those pics. Makes me wish I could unearth all of its previous life.

One more year to the 60th! Who's going to pick up the torch!

I was at the Sprite 50th but driving a Midget that I wasn't proud enough of to get in any pic's! We had the bright idea to watch the auto-cross from up on the hill....completely forgetting how voracious Missouri Chiggers are!!

Great pic's, Gerard. You going to make the next one???:encouragement:

Kurt.

Thanks Kurt, Glad you enjoyed them.

Would be nice if I could get my car done by then; don't see that happening. I haven't heard of anything being planned... is there?

Nothing planned that I know of but there should be! If nothing is planned for the 60'th maybe it could be combined with MG 2018. Has that been decided??

I was thinking of making MG 2017 and visiting again with Bill M. but commitments here worked against that. That and my plan to drive Cal #1 were dashed by the land slide. One of the items on my bucket list is to drive the coast road once again in a nicely sorted Brit roadster.

Kurt.
