Wedge 79 TR7 no start

Working on a 79 TR7. Vehicle came to me as a no start. Found out the Lucas AB14 module had died. Replaced with electronic ignition, Pertronix ignitor 1 and new 4 ohm coil. Got spark figured out, and have good spark to all 4 cylinders, with new spark plugs, wire, cap and rotor. As far as I can tell, I am getting fuel through the cylinders. However, I can't get the car to start. Not even with starting fluid. Anyone have any ideas? If I need to include any additional info, let me know and I'll get it as soon as I can. Thanks in advance.

You have air, fuel, and spark. But are they happening at the right time, in the right order?

If you crank the engine for a few seconds, pull a plug and see if it's wet with gas. If so, then it sounds like the timing is off - way off.

If the plug isn't wet with gas, then you've got a fuel flow problem.

Hope this helps.

I checked timing and firing order, everything is correct. Checked compression, have between 60 and 75 psi across the cylinders. Believe the valve seats may be bad. Waiting to hear from the customer if they want us to tear it apart to confirm.

And when you crank the engine, do the plugs get wet with gas?

Valve seat problems wouldn't likely prevent the engine from firing at least a few times.

Low compression and if the gas is old..that would be a bad combination

When you find out it is toast(as I think) come to Topeka and pick up a "ran when pulled" motor
from a 1980. 150$ I will help you load it and provide the beer! Has a new alternator the car died
when the fuel tank bled out.
