79 Midget oil slinger orientation?

Which direction does the concave side of the oil slinger face? Towards the crank sprocket or towards the crankshaft pulley? From the clean areas on each side of the slinger, it appears that the concave side faces the crankshaft pulley, i.e. the outer edge of the oil slinger is bent towards the crankshaft pulley, the front of the engine. Is this correct? I do not want to be DPO'ed. Thanks, Phil
