I'm cleaning up my engine compartment and installing a new brake master cylinder. What color can I paint my brake booster(servo) to make it look better and closer to the original color?

Black. Satin or semi-gloss. And I think there's a big quarter radial sticker that goes on it... probably available through Moss or VB

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/iagree.gif How bout the M/C....was it just metal originally?

I painted my master cyl with metal cast paint from Eastwood. Looks like raw cast iron. It's hard to tell the difference.

Eastwood makes a good product. They also have an anodized gold coloUr available. The booster on my 1978 MGB is, I believe, to be original from the factory. I've owned the car since 1986.It is a goldish coloUr.

I saw that too Rick. It looks like a three step process. I never knew that the colors were added separately. I was thinking about redoing my door striker plates with it. It looks like the right color. I'm curious if anyone has used it and what the results were.
