MGB '75 mgb bumper

hey out there. I've just bought my second mg in 39 years. Just a hobby to keep busy in my old age.

the '75 has a new "rubber" bumper with no license plate bracket attached. Does any one active know how to attach the plate? There must be some a/m product for this.

My plate hangs below the front bumper. But recently at an MG show, I saw 50% or more that were mounted on the bumper, and some bumpers that had 'holes' in the bumper where the plate could be mounted.

there are holes in the bumper that are filled and to mount the plate you need to pop out the filler they are left and right of center just below the mid line

On 1975 and early 1976 rubber bumper cars, the license plate was attached to a bracket that hung down from the bumper. That bracket is bolted to the inside face of the bumper, making it rather difficult to get to. If you look closely, you should see 2 holes on the inside surface.
I doubt you will find the proper bracket, but one can easily be made.
