Here one for you bargain hunters... Ebay MGA .....Yes, it seams to be for real...I sent the owner a email about a week ago and never got a response...so I can only assume that this MGA will be going to the first $75,000!

I'd also like to take this opportunity to annouce that my MGA is also for sale...And I'll settle for a measly $70,000 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Somebody let me know when late model MGB's are at this price range for a daily driver that needs work to remain a daily driver. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Unique? Not so sure.
Clean? Not so sure.

"...engine runs like a sewing machine..." Bloody brilliant description of the mechanics. But thankfully he did post ONE picture before we hit the 'bid' button.

Oh, and he needs to decide if it's an MGA or a Midget.

This is a huge scam. Apparently, if you enter a bid amount it takes you to another page asking you to confirm your ebay name and password. If you click that link he harvests your ebay id and password...

The listing has been removed from E-Bay. PJ

It has been removed from E-Bay..apparently a "less than honorable" transaction in the works.

I must admit that I was ALMOST a victim to a scam on eBay. Thought I was getting a 100-6 (Austin Healey) for $7,000. Way under-priced... realized the scam after an email or two..caveat emptor... Ron

I've seen a bunch of pretty obvious scams on ebay-motors but they're all over the place even with the regular mechandise. Last week eBay announced they're going to be cracking down on the hijacked accounts and scams (like this one), and some of the other nonsense people have been pulling. It's a shame people fall for some of the more obvious scams (that GPS ad, for example) - otherwise the scammers wouldn't bother doing it.
