MGB-GT 74 GT on eBay

I cannot believe that any self respecting university would ask a man to sell his MG just to pay for classes. What has this world come to. I'd love to take her in, but the wife would kill me. Good Luck.

Student Loan!!

Dang, 2 for the price of one. Wish you were closer because I know I could find a local garage to rent and duwifey would never know. Good luck with the sale. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Sorry to hear your situation. I had the same plight back when I was in school. I had to sell my 1971 Firebird Formula. It broke my heart, but I couldn't afford to keep the car and also gas at the time was relatively expensive. However, your priorities, as much as it hurts, are correct. Good luck!

Thanks again. I will have another project car when I get things sorted out. I cant seem to go very long without something to tinker on. First my V8 blazer, then the gorgeous MG... who knows what will be next. After I graduate that is.

Hope you have better luck this time. You might try posting your car on a couple of other sites such as the North American MGB Register or collectorcartrader.com. I have purchased several cars on the internet, but haven't on e-bay for several reasons. There are a lot of guys who would rather not buy off of e-bay. When I listed my GT (the one in my sig) I sold it in a week on collectorcardtrader.com. I don't know if I was lucky, but I had 3 guys want it at the same time. A gentleman from Ontario, Canada was the first to wire money and that was that. So try other sites, maybe the right person is lurking about elsewhere.

haha - never ends. I sold my classic Z28 to buy our first house, my Spitfire to fund my wife's business, my Scimitar when we moved again.

Hey Guys, I don't live very far away and if someone wants to buy it, there is plenty of room to park it way away from city problems here at my place until you can come get it.
Bob

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the input. It is encouraging to hear someone talk about success with collector car trader online, I was a smidge uneasy about ponying out the cash to something i wasnt sure was going to sell it. I'll give that a try if it doesnt move this time. eBay is expensive selling cars. Thanks mrbassman, I appreciate the offer, tell Adam I said hi.
