TR6 73 TR6 oil pressure switch

Hi,

I have a 73 TR6 with the three contact oil pressure switch. It appear to be leaking oil through the contacts and not the threads. Is that a typical location to leak? Any suggestions on where to acquire one?

Thanks,
Mark

I have bought new one, good one at NAPA. Bring the old one with you. They have a book with dozens of different types and the 3 pronged ones are listed.
I don't remeber if I mentioned it was for a TR6 or just asked for one that matched the old one though so bring it with you.

From an earlier post: This switch is plug-compatible with a standard GM switch, as used on 1979 GM models with a 5L engine. Olds Starfire, for example. Standard's number is PS-64. NAPA number is OP6610 (Echlin unit). $10.50 versus TRF's $24.95 and readily available at pretty well all engine parts places.

Thanks everyone who responded. I ended up getting the NAPA OP6610 (Echlin unit) for $10.98 plus tax-achusetts. I'll get it installed ASAP.
