MGB 73 MGB HIF Hoses

A friend has a 73 MGB with HIF SU Carbs. The vacuum, vapor hoses are all a jumbled mess. Does anyone have a picture or good description that shows the way the hoses should be connected?

Where does the dizzy vac advance connect into this mess?

Thanks

I don't have a suitable picture but page 20 in the Moss catalog shows them but not real clear. The two float bowl vents connect together with a piece of 1/4" metal tubing and connect to the gas vapor canister. The two larger connections go to the vent pipe on the side of the engine block and the other connections are gas into the bowls.
The dizzy vac connects to the intake manifold on mine. Mine is a '72 with two HIF's.

Thank you.

That is a big start. One more question - Where is the anti-run on valve connected to?

TIA

I'm not sure, I don't have one. Must have been removed by the previous owner when the anti-polution stuff came off. Where in Orlando do you live? I'm not far. I live in Chuluota.

Not far from you. I live on the east side of town, off Lake Percival Road - Brittany Place.

The car is about 3 blocks from me. They have some parts on order (floats, needles, etc.). Other than the Carb Hoses all messed up, one float had a hole in it.

I live on the south side of Chuluota on 419. If he wants to consider desmogging it and you want to refer to mine, drop email bobmrbassman@aol.com

My vacuum advance is connected to the second port on the intake manifold. The Cannister is connected to the rear passeneger side of the the valve cover.

I think I have some pics of a nice one, but it is hard to tell...I will email them to you, since I don't know how to post them.
