72 "B" wiring harness

Moss lists three different MAIN wiring harnesses for the 72. Early, mid year and late. Anyone know the difference? I've had 3 72s and the wiring was the same in all three. I know, I had the harnesses out. Any clues?

Re: 72 "B" wiring harness

Could simply be the length of wires extending out of the harness; or covering material; or any number of minor internal harness changes one wouldn't necessarily see.

Re: 72 "B" wiring harness

FMVSS seat belt warning standard started January 1, 1972. That could explain one change.
