TR6 '71 TR6 Windscreen Vin Tag Rivets

I bought the new vinyl pieces that cover the inside of the windscreen. The vin tag that's riveted to the windscreen is a little loose and it appears that it needs to be removed inorder to install the vinyl. What are my options? Thanks in advance.

I just had to remove mine to replace the windshield glass. I used a 1/8" drill bit to get the rivets out. Then pop riveted it back with 1/8" rivets. I don't remember the grip range, but it wasn't much.
