A couple of weeks ago a gal pal told me about a land yacht a friend of hers has out in the desert. This past week-end she trekked out there and tokk pics, and drove, a beautiful(in the eye of the beholder) 71 Plymouth Fury wagon. 118k original miles, new tires...loaded. One small ding about the size of a fist on left rear fender. Zero rust, small crack in front glass(120 dollars) and a few cracks in dash. Green in and out...looks like it drove thru an avocado field. Fold away headlites, fold away third seat. 400cubes. Ice cold a/c. My collection is huge...but being I have my 76 B up for sale...I can justify this new find....Can't I???? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/iagree.gif

What a boat! Love the big old station wagons. Get it, and then redo your kitchen in matching avocado and orange. Groovy, Baby!

It DOES come with the Woodgrained paneling, doesen't it?
You'll also need to get the bumper sticker that says
"We're Going to Wally World!"

Absolutely... Get it! Sounds fabulous... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif I also happen to love station wagons so I'm somewhat biased... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Do ya need a CDL to drive that boat? You could call Kenny to come move it for ya.
Cool car... I'd be on that if I were in your spot.
Retro wagons are sooooo cool!

My wife laughed so hard when she saw the pics I thought she tore something. If nothing else I could close my shop...become a Coyote...and run illegals across the border!! Oh..I forgot..they're all here already. No seriously, as soon as our ice storm is over and I dare to get back on the highway I'm going to go get it. And I'm going to try to figure out how to post a pic or two.

lol - Great boat. Reminds me of both the Family Truckster (National Lampoons Vacation - love the wally world sticker idea), and the Vista Cruiser from "That 70's Show". /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I've got a soft spot for those big old land yachts, especially the wagons. Who needs a van, and what a cool tow vehicle!
