Just discovered my block and crank are trashed. Too much end play, thrusts were in the pan. Any tips on what to look for and where to look. Already checked Craigslist and eBay. Any suppliers that offer short or long blocks.

I have a block&crank from a later engine and am located in Albany. If you are interested, give me a call in the evening or send a private message with your email address.
